In the last several months we've seen a lot of post offices suspend operations due to extreme weather. This week's OIG blog discusses a recent audit that evaluated whether emergency suspensions of U.S. Postal Service facilities in the Eastern Area are executed in compliance with policies and procedures, including actions taken to reopen or discontinue facilities.
