US Tax Calendar (Forecast)

 Here are some important dates to keep in mind for the U.S. tax calendar:

  • January 15: Fourth quarter estimated tax payments are due for the previous tax year.
  • January 31: Deadline for employers to provide employees with W-2 forms and for businesses to issue 1099 forms to contractors.
  • April 15: Deadline for individuals to file their federal income tax returns and pay any taxes owed. This date may be extended to May 17, 2021 for the 2020 tax year.
  • April 15: Deadline for first quarter estimated tax payments for the current tax year.
  • June 15: Deadline for second quarter estimated tax payments for the current tax year.
  • September 15: Deadline for third quarter estimated tax payments for the current tax year.
  • October 15: Deadline to file federal income tax returns for individuals who requested an extension, and to pay any taxes owed. Note that this date is subject to change and may differ from year to year.
